The National Fortification Alliance (NFA) Steering Committee will hold its quarterly meeting on June 29, 2026, to discuss strategic direction and governance matters affecting Nigeria's food fortification programme.
The Steering Committee, composed of senior representatives from government agencies, development partners, and industry leaders, will review:

• Strategic priorities for Q3 2026
• Regulatory framework updates and compliance trends
• Budget allocation and resource mobilization
• Partnership agreements and stakeholder engagement
• Preparation for the main NFA meeting
**Expected Outcomes:**
The committee will provide strategic guidance on critical policy decisions, approve operational priorities, and ensure alignment between technical implementation and national nutrition objectives.

The meeting will bring together decision-makers from NAFDAC, Federal Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, WFP Nigeria, UNICEF, industry associations, and other core stakeholders.
