The National Fortification Alliance will convene its mid-year stakeholder meeting on June 30, 2026, in Abuja. This comprehensive gathering brings together government agencies, regulatory bodies, development partners, industry stakeholders, academia, and civil society organizations to review progress and chart the path forward for food fortification in Nigeria.
**Meeting Objectives:**
• Review national fortification compliance performance (January - June 2026)
• Share updates on regulatory enforcement and quality assurance
• Discuss laboratory capacity strengthening initiatives
• Evaluate Digital Fortification Quality and Traceability Plus (DFQT+) implementation
• Address challenges in premix procurement and quality control
• Explore expansion opportunities in rice and bouillon fortification
